Double Dragon - PC

1989 · Windows · MS-DOS · Arcade · Arcadia Software,Tradewest

This is the DOS PC release of Double Dragon, originally released by Tradewest in arcades and here ported in 1989 by Arcadia Software. The software itself credits the port to 1988, but the main executable on the disk is dated from December of 1989. Programmed for the: IBM PC, TANDY !000 family & other 100% PC Compatibles CGA, EGA or Tandy card required Joystick(s) optional This version was distributed on one 3.5" DD Disk, though there is also a version released on two 5.25" disks. The image provided here was a little tricky to get, as the disk had several weak sectors due to age, but a bit of persistence and some patience resulted in the ability to compile a complete standard format image of the disk. The disk does not appear to have any sort of copy protection, but a flux copy is provided as well anyways for preservation's sake.
