This is the full retail release of LowTek Games "ParaSite Pack" for Nokia N-Gage Classic / Nokia N-Gage QD. Most likely, seeing this game here on Archive, you will ask yourself a fair question - Why is it here? After all, it's a physical paid game. And you will be certainly right, it is indeed a paid release. As it follows from the official LowTek Games Etsy Store , the N-Gage version costs 35 GBP + postage. Btw, the entire run of 100 copies has already been sold. But there is a very interesting nuance. This game is completely based on the cracked version of paid commercial emulator VNES for Symbian S60 from VAMPENT company. Specifically, to create ParaSite Pack was used this (cracked) scene release: vNes.v1.60.S60.SymbianOS.4k.Color.Cracked.by.b0nnyxie.sis This is very easy to check if compare the ParaSite Pack files and the cracked emulator files - the whole part of the emulator base itself is completely 1:1 identical. The only difference is the added loader files, which allows to have three separate standalone game icons on one MMC card, instead one original VNES icon. Cracked VNES file can be easily found on the Internet or even here on Archive.org. And in general, the use of this emulator (its full cracked version) for non-commercial personal purposes is a normal logical idea, since the official site where you could purchase the activation key does not work from about 2013-2014. Just remind, that the emulator itself could be downloaded for free from the official VAMPENT site, but in order to activate all its functions and use it fully, the user had to purchase an activation key on the same official site. Therefore, using nowadays a cracked version of this emulator is the only way to get its full functionality. But, selling a game that is based entirely on a hacked version of a paid commercial app is a pretty questionable idea. At the very least, it makes sense that in such a case, a digital copy of the game should be available for free? :) ParaSite Pack is completely based on the cracked version of VNES and without this emulator ParaSite Pack game compilation cannot be run on N-Gage at the moment, as it is not a native Symbian application, but a slightly optimized NES ROM file. And even so, the correct display of the game itself on the Nokia N-Gage screen depends on the VNES settings. For this reason, that's fair enough that a digital copy of this paid compilation based entirely on hacked commercial software should be available for free. As for the sale of the physical version, it remains on the author's conscience. Given that this edition looks really nice, the physical copy is well worth the price autor asked for it. :) Now what about the digital copy itself. Files which are originally were on the physical MMC gamecard have a number of non-critical, but not very pleasant flaws, they have been corrected, namely: 1) The MMC gamecard itself has files in System folder (which are shown in N-Gage menu) from the middle of March 2025, while the final files from the beginning of April 2025 just placed in the form of .SIS packages, it's strange. These .SIS files and already installed versions have been synchronized, now on the game card there are only final copies of game files from April 07, 2025 (both in a System folder and .SIS packages). 2) The final 3 x .SIS files of each game themselves had some minor errors in their .PKG script. For example, there was a duplicated line with setting .AIF game icon (for all three games) - this is corrected, also the general syntax of .PKG file for all three games was optimized a bit. These .SIS packages will help you to restore any of the games if you accidentally deleted the System folder. Or if you just want to share the game. Please note that .SIS files can only be installed on the E:\ disk (MMC card) of your N-Gage / QD. Fixing the files and making the installation possible on the C:\ drive is not a big deal, but I decided to keep the original logic of this release. Especially if keep in mind that N-Gage Classic and QD have only 3+ MB of free C:\ drive memory. 3) Some incorrect game names have been fixed to the correct ones, which the developer uses in Steam and official promo materials: "Flea" -> "FLEA!", "Flea2" -> "FLEA!2", "Tapeworm" -> "TAPEWORM". 4) Some doubling files have been removed, as they are not necessary and just take up space. For example, the final loose .NES ROMs in a separate folder, as they are the 1:1 same to the files which integrated to final .SIS files and to the files which already also installed in the System folder. 5) Added a folder with promo media content that is available for free on the official website of the developer, purely for easier access to it. All files are correctly named, organized and available for offline viewing without problems.
