Crunchyroll recently removed the ability to download the ROM directly from the game's official website and instead prompts users to subscribe to Crunchyroll Premium and download the game through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) to play it. It was previously a free game when pre-orders for the limited physical release were still taking place at the time. Absolutely nothing regarding the archive file has been touched or tampered with at all. The original filename of the ROM is "Himes Quest.gb", though the extension can be changed after the fact since it's a Game Boy Color ROM to begin with. The CRC32 checksum for both the archive file and the ROM must match these values: himes-quest.zip = 938E1386 Himes Quest.gb = DE5C21C2 I've kept the download URL for the archive file (in case it doesn't match the checksums listed above) since it's still active, but it's unknown how long it'll last before the link stops working. The ROM can be played on either any Game Boy Color emulator of your choice, an actual Nintendo Game Boy Color system (with a compatible flash cart), or an FPGA-based Game Boy Color system like the Analogue Pocket (either with a flash cart or through the SD card with the openFPGA core). The ROM is also compatible with the Game Boy Advance either through the Goomba Color/Jagoomba Color emulator or an actual Game Boy Color flash cart in Game Boy/Game Boy Color compatibility mode.
