Quiver (ADvertainment Software, 1997) (registered version) “Aliens have stolen orbs allowing them to return to your world’s distant past. Having established covert bases, replete with warehouses and power plants, the aliens are attempting to alter the past and your present! They will too, unless you recover those orbs. You must also eliminate as many aliens (and their little vermin buddies) as you can. To accomplish your mission you must use whatever resources you can find, even alien stuff.” Obscure shareware first-person Doom clone done by bunch of guys. It plays very straight-forward, but some weapons are interesting and the overall feeling is quite moody, in a way only some forgotten game from late ’90s can be. Music (by David B. Schultz, who also scored I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Dark Seed II and… Nitemare 3D) really helps the overall atmosphere. The “add-on episode” was probably never released.
