Militant Mouse

2023 · Seaborgium Entertainment

Small indie game by Seaborgium Entertainment. Was available on Steam, now delisted, making it abandonware. Extremely janky and clearly unfinished, Seaborgium went on to make a ton of other small games - some better, some worse - that just barely escape being called an asset flip. There was some actual clear effort though, as they're made in a variety of engines - Godot, Pixel Game Maker MV, RPG Maker, Game Maker... https://steamdb.info/developer/Seaborgium+Entertainment/ With a variety of genres and themes, these seem to be genuine effort behind them, suggesting they were a genuine attempt at self expression via game design. That's why I decided to upload Militant Mouse - it's silly, janky, very basic platformer - but whoever Seaborgium Entertainment is, I feel they should be remember by whoever stumbles onto this file. Only one of their games remains on Steam, Path to Domination, probably because it wasn't self-published but has a different publisher - and is probably the best of their efforts, with positive reviews.
