Grand Prix 2 – 2025 Season Mod (Fan Project)

racing · MS-DOS

This project is a fan-made modification of Grand Prix 2 (MicroProse, 1996) that recreates the 2025 Formula 1 season within the original game engine. The mod updates the experience with: Recreated 2025-style cars , liveries and team identities Updated drivers and team line-ups Custom tracks adapted to the 2025 calendar Rebalanced performance data and statistics to reflect the 2025 season Visual and data tweaks designed to respect the limits and feel of the original GP2 engine The goal of this project is not realism at any cost, but rather a “what if GP2 had a 2025 season” experience, staying faithful to the handling, physics and spirit that made Grand Prix 2 a classic.
