Yump 1.20

1992 · MS-DOS · Vladimir Glusica

From YUMB.DOC: YUMB was created to allow more creative ,challenging skillful game. Yumb is dice greed game, we guaranty that Yumb will challenge your mind and sharpen your skills. This game was featured in episode #118 of Kris Asick's Shovelware Diggers , but wasn't functional because the copy on the disc contained a time-bomb based on the KEY.ID file, requiring you to dial up to a (long dead) BBS to get a new shareware trial copy that'd still work. So I hacked out the date check and made the game playable again. If you want to do this change to your own copy of the game, you need to make the following change to YUMB.EXE: At offset 39002 (985Ah), change B9 54 00 to CB 90 90 This zip contains both the unaltered original from the Softkey Shareware 2000 Hit Games (YUMB.EXE) and my version with that patch pre-applied (YUMBCRK.EXE)
