Largest J2ME and Symbian Software Collection

Largest J2ME and Symbian Software Collection This is the most extensive collection of Symbian and J2ME content available online as of late 2024. It includes over a million deduplicated midlets, games, and themes for vintage mobile phones, sourced from a wide range of site dumps and other repositories. While some effort was made to rename and organize the files, items such as S60v2 software or earlier, themes, JAD files, and obscure formats are presented as originally found due to the lack of documentation and tools necessary to manage these formats. I hope that individuals more knowledgeable than me can build upon this work and develop the necessary tools to properly name, filter and preserve these files. Before installing any software from this collection, it is strongly recommended to perform a thorough scan with VirusTotal to ensure safety. Although surface checks with ClamAV were conducted to remove some malicious files, not all may have been detected or eliminated. It may not be possible to extract these archives on Windows due to the 260-character NTFS path size limit. The upload of this collection may take a considerable amount of time due to Archive.org's perplexingly slow upload speeds, which are often in the kb/s range (1gb/s uplink on my side), coupled with the torrent peer seemingly being disregarded by Archive.org's servers. The upload process began on 2024-12-17 with no ETA in sight.
