All Steel OS 1.51 Builds (1.51.421 - 1.51.443)

2023 · SteelsOfLiquid

All builds of the cancelled Steel OS 1.51, developed in early 2023. None of these builds were publicly released. Steel OS 1.51 was supposed to be a 1.xx "companion" release to the then-nearing-completion Steel OS 2.00 (then called Steel OS 2.0), bringing thing such as 2.00's revamped file manager and control panel/settings application, main menu, etc., to the Steel OS 1.xx platform. The reason was to provide an easier transition to 2.00. 1.51 was too ambitious and got cancelled to focus on 2.00, which was supposed to have a classic theme, which was scrapped. This made 1.20 the final release of Steel OS 1.xx until 1.73, which was released and shortly after discontinued. You can upload these to Scratch, as long as you explicitly state that you acquired one of these builds from the Internet Archive and that it was originally created by SteelsOfLiquid.
