Renga is a generator of rengas (a poetic genre of Japanese origin) created in BASIC language and presented at the exhibition Les Immatériaux in 1985. The reproduction shown here was executed in a DOSBox environment with a runtime cycle of 800 instructions/second, realized by Philippe Bootz. This version was installed at La Rose des vents in Villeneuve d’Ascq in 1991.
