Quadrix

1993 · puzzle · MS-DOS · Christiane James

Description: Quadrix is a French DOS puzzle game written by Christiane James and released as freeware in 1993. The game is an adaptation of a traditional Central European puzzle involving four colored cubes. The objective is to rotate the cubes until each visible row contains four different colors, with no repeated color in the same line. The game requires an EGA or higher graphics card and includes sound support, on-screen help, and keyboard controls for cube manipulation. Distributed as freeware for personal use, the package includes the executable game file (QUADRIX.EXE) and documentation (QUADRIX.DOC).
