Diver Dan, by Waltware / Walt Winkelspecht. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to LOCATE and help GET the island of DAN"S dreams. Just beware the hazards of the deep. If you blow it, we will of course disavow any knowledge of your existence. Original version taken from the "2000 Shareware Games" CD from Softkey. Dated 1992 from file dates. Diver Dan has serious compatibility issues on modern systems. (And even vintage systems; it failed to work in Windows XP, Windows 98, or even the DOS mode in Windows 98.) This is an attempt to remedy this by upgrading the engine to QuestMaker 2.5. It appears to work, but has not been extensively tested. Changes: The following files were copy/pasted from QuestMaker 2.5, following the upgrade instructions: QM21.PGM, QMENU.PGM, SCE.PGM, SE.PGM, PLAY.EXE, QM.EXE INTRO.COM was deleted. (Not part of the upgrade; the archive.org virus checker flagged it. But, the game appears to work without it, so whatever.) https://archive.org/details/QuestMaker
