MAME 0.289 (31. 7. 2026) + 150 Best Arcade Games

This is a personally curated pack of the MAME emulator V 0.289, released 31. 7. 2026 and 150 of the best and my personal favourite games for this version. WHY DID I MAKE THIS COMPILATION? You can't get the games for the current MAME versions easily; most available free ROM downloads are older versions and don't work on the newest MAME version; to get the current version games however, you have to download the whole arhive which is currently at 152 GB of data and has around 33.000 games inside. Most of us will only ever play the best and our favourite arcade games, so most people don't need or want to download such a huge arhive for their personal use, me included. I made this compilation for myself, but i'm sharing it with the world in case someone else wants or needs it; i downloaded the whole pack, searched through the online game database (https://adb.arcadeitalia.net/) for days, made an Excell spreadsheet for all necessary information, then copied and tested every game to make sure it works. DISCLAIMER: some games will show partial error messages, but they all work 100% on my end. I took extra care to include only the latest (most fixed) non-merged game versions. Most games are "World" or "EU" versions; if not available, i took the latest US or Japan version. The MAME emulator has a pretty clunky interface which makes searching for games a hassle, so i also included the "Favourites" file in the pack which should easily sort these 150 games for you to play when added to the correct folder. I promise you that there are NO VIRUSES and NO MALWARE anywhere in this compilation; i'm just an OG gamer and wanted to do something nice for other OG gamers like myself.
