Public Caves Narrascope

1973 · adventure · history · MS-DOS · Dave Kaufman

This could be considered a proto-MUD or proto-adventure game; it was written in August 1973 and the source code was later printed in the special "Games" issue of People's Computer Company. This version was prepared by Jason Dyer for the Narrascope conference in 2019. It includes rooms and text added by the visitors to the conference. As the game only lets you add one room per visit, this was packaged with a batch file that lets you exit and return if you want to modify multiple things. The ZIP file includes the original PCC issue with source code.
