Expert Tarot

1996 · MS-DOS · Windows 3.x · Expert Software

Tarot (also known as Tarot Card) is an application published by Expert Software in 1996 and written by Gunnar Kossatz. It provides three different tarot decks, complete with canned interpretations for each card, and a number of spreads. You also get the ability to add your own decks and spreads, which means the software may be useful for other forms of cartomancy as well. Both 16-bit and 32-bit Windows versions are included. The disc also contains five audio tracks intended for use as optional background music. Based on unused dialog box resources in the executable, it appears this product was also sold as shareware under the name World of Tarot, and that this would have corresponded to version 1.10a of that product.
