Sonic Pokemon Hacks for Game Boy Advance

Game Boy Advance · The Pech made the Fire Red hack, but no clue who made the Ruby hack. It could be the same person.

If I had a nickel for every time I came across a Sonic related Pokemon rom hack, I'd have two nickels. It's not a lot, but strange that it happened twice! So these are a couple of hacks that basically swap sprites of Pokemon in battle with Sonic sprites from the Sprite Resource website. What's crazy is it's not just the sprites from the 2D Sonic games, it's fanmade sprites from other Sonic media like the comics and cartoons too! Yeah. There's SatAM, Underground, Sonic The Comic, Archie Sonic, Sonic Boom, you name it! They're all here! There's also a few custom names for different moves, but that's about it. Ruby has a larger number and more variety when it comes to "Sonicmon" to catch and use in battle, but both games use different sprites and attacks. I don't know if you can trade between them, i doubt it. I've only ever emulated them in single player. Also heads up for Fire Red, it's a ROUGH START. You pick between Sonic, Shadow, and Silver to start with but you only have weak attacks and all the robots that show up even in Route 1 are all STEEL TYPE. It takes for goddang ever to level up! It took me 3 hours just to get past Viridian City! So here's some advice. Try to battle normal types like Tails to level up a bit first and just run away from all the bots. Watch out for Knuckles too because he's a fighting type and will wipe you out. Tails learns peck which can help with the handful of fighting types. There's a few Wikipedias made by fans that cover different Sonicmon and what attacks they learn, when they evolve, ect, but none of them are complete.
