Russian Import: Grand Theft Auto III (GTA 3)

sandbox · PlayStation 2 · Rockstar Games

1. Definitive Edition translation is based on the localization text from Buki with partial integration of changes from the 1C 2010 re-release. 2. Rockstar translators reworked about 60% of the in-game dialogues: some sentences were paraphrased, some lines were corrected and some lines were mistranslated. 3. The name of the vehicles (except for public service) are now in English! 4. Neighborhood names are a mix between the transliteration from the official LCS translation (Staunton Island = Staunton Island) and the Buki translation (Portland is still "PortleAnd"). 5. In the prompts, the game addresses "you." Credits : Porting to PS2 (with the adaptation of the text for the platform, fonts and hacking): Nanoposan69 Special thanks to: Sergeanur (for the old PS2 port, a couple of hacks were cut from it) and re3 developers (sources were used for other engine hacks)
