Jack Flash: Mutiny of the Things

Unbelievable, but true! As we were told just a few moments ago by our newsman Norbert Nanotech, the mad Professor E. Eddison (known as Evil Eddi) brought the "Things" to life with his "Energy Generators". Now there is nowhere to hide from the aggressive apples, combative carrots, lunatic light-bulbs and all the other strange things that have now united together to found their own state called "Thing-City" -- independent from humans. The Things installed their energy generators everywhere. As we know from well-informed government sources, there is only one small chance left to stop the Things. The government has put all its hope in one man, the one and only Jack Flash. We managed to talk to this man, on whom the whole nation is depending to stop the Things. Here is our exclusive interview. CN: How are you going to stop the Things? JF: I can extract the life-energy from the Things by using my Suck-O-Matic (TM). I just press the ALT-key for it. But it's even more important to destroy the energy generator on each level. CN: How are you going to find these energy generators? JF: Well, I'll have to look for them. I can jump very high with the CTRL key. Helping me are the monitors that are spread around. I have a small remote controlled camera, the TEMU, that I can activate with the T key. I can see their transmission on the monitors. CN: Where do you get the energy for that camera and the Succ-O-Matic? JF: I have a limited amount of energy in my backpack. If this is used up, I have to recharge it by pressing ENTER at the converters that I find on occasion. CN: Is there anything else you want to tell our readers, before you start your mission? JF: Well, maybe they are interested in learning that we work with the latest technology; the teleport units. When I activate these by pressing ENTER, I will be transported to another area of the level. Another interesting point is that the government offers an extra life if I manage to suck all the things on a level, or if I collect all bonus objects.
