River Run - Commodore PET 32K Scrolling Shooter

Super Nintendo · Arcade · Milasoft

River Run is a fast-paced scrolling arcade shooter for 32K, 40-column Commodore PET computers by Milasoft . Fly along a twisting river, weave through narrow passages, destroy enemy forces, blast bridges, and manage your fuel before the tank runs dry. The river layout changes from game to game, giving each run a different course and making high-score attempts less predictable. Enemy resistance becomes more dangerous as the game progresses. Gunboats appear first, followed by helicopters, diving jets, land-based tanks, and other destructible targets. Gameplay features: Fast scrolling arcade-shooter gameplay Different river layouts from game to game Gunboats, helicopters, diving jets, and tanks Destructible buildings and bridges Fuel management and low-fuel warnings Bonus points for consecutive enemy kills Straight or guided missile options Safe or fatal shoreline gameplay options Top-five high-score table Sound effects Double-buffered display Keyboard controls Joystick support SNES controller support System requirements: Commodore PET 3032 / 4032 compatible system 32K RAM 40-column display Included program files: riverrun-32kpetversion.prg - standard PET version riverrun-32kbusinesspetversion.prg - business-keyboard version The business-keyboard build is included but has not been fully tested.
