PAC-MAN

1998 · MS-DOS · Arcade · Daniel Lundgren

PAC-MAN MANUAL Programming and graphics by Daniel Lundgren Made between 98-07-25 and 98-08-01 Controls- Player 1 uses the arrow-keys and player 2 uses the keys "A", "W", "D" and "X". Ghosts- You know the blue ones that makes the game a little bit more difficult. Each level the monsters gets faster, they are eatable less time and they also gets smarter. Actualy I'm not really satisfied with their intelligence, but they're smart enough. Blobbs- When you have eaten a blobb then monsters will be eatable for a period of time and they will try to escape from you. When half of the time has elapsed the monsters will start to blink. The points you get after each eaten monster is "200^i" where "i" is the number of eaten ghost. "i" will be zero when you eat a new Blobb. 2 Players- If both players eat something at the same time it will be random who will get the points. Gamespeed- You can set the game speed depending on how fast/slow your computer is. Adjust the speed so it takes about 3.3 seconds to move from the right to the left side on the game field. Extra life- Every time you get 10000 points you'll get an extra life. Highscore- If you want to reset the highscore delete the file "scores.dat" in the catalogue "files".
