Raman / L'amant / The Lover / ラマン / Коханець

2004 · drama · Рюити Хироки · Arcimboldo Y.K.

A 17-year-old girl becomes a 'gift' for three brothers — Tamiro, Taro, and Saburo for a year. Her father, who is dying, presents this unusual gift to his sons, who have always been used to getting whatever they want: he wants to teach them a life lesson. The girl partly agrees for money, but deeper reasons lie in her inner emptiness — she feels disconnected from the world and comes to the brothers to find out what love is. The brothers control her body but do not touch her soul.
