Charlie Ferro is a savvy student with two passions: cars and card games. One day, deciding to make some cash, he agrees to drive a new Porsche to Atlantic City. A series of mishaps leads him first to a restaurant where, upon seeing a stunning car, he's mistaken for a millionaire, and then to a casino. Charlie beats the notorious mob enforcer Danny in poker and from that moment on, trouble begins for the student. A large sum is offered for his head, and both gangsters and the police are hunting him...
