Inosika Oto, master of gambling and skilled pickpocket, unwittingly hides the runaway anarchist Sunosuke from pursuit. This encounter echoes her past and brings her closer to solving the mystery of her father's death, a former police officer. At the same time, a European spy arrives in the country, adding new complications to the already tangled case. Her superior, who loves extreme brutality, is also entangled in this drama. In pursuit of revenge, Oto fights against yakuza armies, and the only clue to solving the murders is three animal cards: bear, deer, and butterfly.
