TORRENT WORLD
The Man Who Knew Too Much
Michael Balcon (uncredited) · Gaumont British Picture Corporation
“Fast-paced, witty and atmospheric” “Vastly underrated” “Early gem by the master of suspense” (IMDB reviews quotes). A worthy suspense drama in which a British couple’s daughter is kidnapped to prevent their exposure of an assassination plot. The excellent cast includes Peter Lorre’s first appearance in a Hitchcock Film. Remade in 1956. It would make an interesting double feature with Hitch’s “Sabotage.” IMDB rating 6.9. Directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Released in 1934. Complete print. SPECIAL NOTE: The fully restored print of “Sabotage” is here: https://archive.org/details/SabotageImageQualityUpgrade
