The Love Hypothesis

2026 · comedy · romance · Клер Скэнлон · Amazon MGM Studios · Bisous Pictures · MRC Film

The plot centers on Olivia Smith, a graduate student completely immersed in academic studies and career. To prove to her best friend that she has long since moved on from a past relationship, Olivia spontaneously kisses the first person she encounters in the university corridor. It turns out to be Dr. Adam Carlson — a stern and somewhat grumpy professor. Adam decides to play along and offers Olivia to enter into fake relationships supposedly for a scientific experiment. The protagonists begin to act as a couple, and gradually the strict boundaries of this agreement start to break down. Scientific logic collides with the unpredictability of emotions, forcing both to reevaluate their understanding of love.
