«Nili» is the first spin-off in Jack Reacher's television universe, set in Chicago today. The focus is on Francis Nili, a woman with a troubled past and unique combat skills who cannot tolerate strangers' touch. Maria Stan plays the lead role, having previously appeared in the series «Jack Reacher». The showrunners are Nick Santora and Nicholas Wuttun, with Jack Reacher's author, Lee Child, serving as executive producer. The creators aimed to maintain the style and tone of the parent show while adding more emotional depth. The project explores the heroine's traumatic past and attempts to prove that Child's universe can exist without the main enforcer.
