Charlie Chaplin Comedy Theatre - Work

1965 · comedy

An episode of a 1965 syndicated TV series which featured vintage Charlie Chaplin short films accompanied by a voice over, music, and sound effects. This episode features the 1915 film Work. Truth be told, there are better prints of the original films available now, but it is still interesting as an example of how silent films were presented on 1960s television. Along with being shown in the U.S., it was also broadcast in the UK and Australia.
