It seems that Sasha and Masha have already completed their main mission — they raised children, waited for them to form their own families, and finally can live for themselves. But life has prepared the Sokolovs with new challenges. Timofey and Polina are going on a long business trip to China, and Sasha and Masha will have to relearn how to raise children. Max and Lera will close their café to pursue a more adventurous business. And Ilya and Sonya, who have recently become parents, will try to combine modern parenting approaches with the experience of the older generation.
