2026 · comedy · mystery · Дмитрий Булейко · Russian Code

The charismatic and self-assured artist and showman arrives in a small town to become the face of a bank campaign for his friend, Arkadiy Shmakov, the city's most influential person. He is greeted with trumpets and loud speeches, but the lavish celebration turns into a major crime: the bank is taken over, the owner is injured, and the artist is declared the main suspect. The investigation falls to Nadezhda - a police major and, by the way, an expecting mother. She begins the case in her ninth month of pregnancy. The local police chief is not very happy about Nadezhda's return to duty and tries to keep her away from the investigation. To uncover the truth, the artist and Nadezhda must work together, despite their personal fears and circumstances.
