''The Dinah Shore Chevy Show''

1959 · music · Henry Jaffe Enterprises

Television variety show hosted by Dinah Shore. Guests include Eve Arden, Dick Shawn (WTF!), Red Norvo, and the very interesting Sujata and Asoka. Lots of music and comedy, along with some dancing. This copy does benefit from containing the original commercials, but the picture quality isn't very good. This NBC telecast was originally in colour, but this copy is in black-and-white. Colour tapes rarely survive from the 1950s, does this survive only in B&W? Also, this copy seems to be a bad tape transfer of the original kinescope.
