Mikee: Sister Elena

1996 · Republic Broadcasting System, Inc.

A different dramedy each week starring the freshest face on television and the movies. Young. Vibrant. Free-spirited. Responsible. Adventurous. Unpretentious. She's Mikee Cojuangco. And in her self-titled anthology, you'll see her in possibly the widest array of comic and dramatic roles any actress has ever performed on TV: sweet campus beauty, hotshot TV reporter, insecure wife, teenage visionary, mysterious bag lady, soon-to-be bride, 350 pound weight-watcher, volunteer social worker, clumsy superheroine, overgrown 10-year old, female Santa Claus, doll-come-to-life, angel, devil, mermaid, girl-pretending-to-be -a-boy, girl-pretending-to-be-a-female-impersonator, girl-cursed-to-grow-a-beard. You name it, Mikee's doing it. Launched in 1995, the show has already become one of the most successful anthologies on Philippine TV. It's one of the highest rating programs in its timeslot. And it already reaped international acclaim via the First Asian Television Awards where Mikee was chosen runner-up best actress for 1996.
