In the second season, the Librarians investigate an outbreak of inexplicable rage in an international school-boarding house, trying to suppress their own aggressive impulses. The situation is complicated by the sudden appearance of a mysterious man who calls himself Merlin (Dominic Monahan). He challenges the very foundations of the Library and tempts Vikram and his partners to break its most sacred rule.
