Brian Henderson's Bandstand - Moomba Festival

1963 · music

An episode of an Australian television pop music series. This particular episode was recorded on 7 March 1963 in Melbourne at Sidney Myer Music Bowl, but I don't know the original broadcast date. Guests include The De Kroo Brothers, Lorraine Davies, Johnny Rohan, The Delltones, Grantley Dee, Judy Stone, and Col Joye & The Joy Boys. This is one of several concert episodes done by the series. Others include a pair of episodes recorded in Perth (see here and here ). A kinescope recording which I ripped from a DVD. The episode was originally recorded on video tape (probably 2 inch), but a kinescope is all that survives. I am worried this upload will result in a copyright strike. Nine Network, if you want this removed, please let me know and I'll remove it.
