Medical scientists Alexander Gireev and Vladimir Shulgin invented a drug that can cure any disease, even cancerous tumors. But the medicine that could save the world becomes a source of conflict within the family. The eldest son of Gireev, Evgeny, decides to help his father with promotion. His daughter Polina is convinced that her brother only needs fame and money, and he is ready to betray his father. And Gireev himself turns out to be unwilling to compromise with the demands of the large pharma market. After all, drug production is a profitable business. Why produce what cures people if you can earn more while they are sick.
