The 5th Annual American Comedy Awards

1991 · comedy

Perhaps the biggest Emmy bellwether, Beatrice Arthur is your host at the fifth edition of the American Comedy Awards. From an opening number, the "Urkel" that hilariously bridges the generation gap, to all the great awards from categories ranging from funniest performers in a TV special, film, best Comedy Club Stand-Up, lifetime achievement award, and of course, best TV sitcom and comedy film. Among the other presenters include Shelley Long, Martin Mull, Fred Willie, Betty White, Jonathan Winters, Steve Martin, Ellen Degeneres, Kirstie Alley, and more. Plus, a special honorary tribute to Carl Reiner.
