Previously on GH, Robert was upset, a stunned Robin learned that Holly was still alive when she appeared with Faison's mom, Nanny McTavish on TV, and pleaded with Faison not to hurt Anna. Meanwhile, after Robert and Anna's apartment roommate Art rigged an elevator to stall, he persuaded Robin and a friend into it by sending Robin a false note from her boyfriend Roger. Also, Faison was convinced that he's going to have Robin in his clutches soon, while David told Monica that he remembers her, not his daughter, because Monica was the great love of his life. Finally, Holly assured Robin that she isn't trying to take the place of Anna.
