An episode of an Australian pop music television series. Guests include: Johnny Devlin, Wilma Reading, Noeleen Batley, The Toppers, Kahu, Lucky Starr, The Sapphires, Warren Williams, Patty Markham, Ian Gardiner, The Delltones, Ernie Wilson, and The Allen Brothers. I hope the date provided is correct. Rest assured, the kind of product placement seen in this episode was gone within a few years. At one point Brian and the studio audience wish happy birthday to stations ADS-7 and BTQ-7. They began broadcasting on 24 October 1959 and 1 November 1959 respectively. Those two stations, along with HSV-7 in Melbourne (launched 1956) and TCN-9 in Sydney (launched 1956) were part of a loose network prior to the creation of Nine Network and Seven Network (there was also a loose network prior to 1962 consisting of the other commercial stations in those cities). A kinescope recording which I ripped from a DVD. I am worried this will result in a copyright strike. Nine Network, if you want this removed, please let me know and I'll remove it.
