Ubuntu Gnome 16.10

Ubuntu GNOME (formerly known as Ubuntu GNOME Remix) was a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu that came with the GNOME desktop environment. The project started out as an unofficial Ubuntu remix. However, in 2013 it became the official Ubuntu variant. It was discontinued due to said desktop environment being shipped by default starting with Ubuntu 17.10, making further development of Ubuntu GNOME pointless.
