Steel OS 3 Final Preview Release Build 2998

2023 · operating-system · Windows · SteelsOfLiquid

This is an unreleased pre-release build of Steel OS 3 from August 2023. It appears to have been modified in a way that changes the last background (normally a picture of a highway) into a background featuring Nanami Madobe (a Windows 7 anime girl) with long hair, and it appears the first sample song (normally, that would be Always The Same by SefChol) to the song Ena by Hinkik. It also appears to have a rouge install button for SteelFirm PictureWorks 2.0, a scrapped program developed by SteelsOfLiquid under one of her various software brand names she used for Steel OS software. Other than that, it is essentially identical to the RTM build of Steel OS 3 that is publicly available, with the only major differences being the first startup background and the rouge install button in the Steel OS Marketplace. SteelsOfLiquid likely would've released this build, but she never did. This build will work on Windows 11 and Windows 10, and maybe Windows 8.1 and 7, however the latter two have not been tested. This build, like 2955B (Public Beta 2), and the RTM 3000 build, uses a 64-bit runtime and thus needs a 64-bit OS and CPU.
