The Intel Express Installer DVD has the following organization: "Dataset" folder -- Contains specific desktop board and component information. "Documents" folder -- Contains desktop board documentation, warranty, and marketing information in Adobe Acrobat format. Also contains other selected information. "Plugins" folder -- Contains additional component information for Intel Express Installer. "Software\Drivers" folder -- Contains subdirectories for board drivers: - "Audio" folder -- Provides the Realtek* audio driver with the Realtek High Definition Audio. - "Chipset_INF" folder -- Provides the Intel(R) Chipset Software Installation Utility. - "CIR" folder -- Provides Consumer IR Driver software. - "eSATA" folder -- Provides the 3Gb/s Marvell* RAID Controller and Utility. This driver is used only with the Intel(R) Desktop Board DX58SO2. - "IRST" -- Provides the Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology driver. - "LAN" folder -- Provides the Intel(R) PRO Network Connections LAN drivers and setup information. (Note: Microsoft* Windows* Vista* operating system (OS) requires a manual installation. See the "Software\Manual_Install_Drivers" folder below.) - "SATA_6Gbs" folder -- Provides the 6Gb/s Marvell* RAID controller (using the SATA 3.0 Specification). This driver is used with both the Intel(R) Desktop Board DX58SO2 and the Intel(R) Desktop Board DX58OG. (Note: Microsoft* Windows* Vista* OS requires a manual install. See the "Software\Manual_Install_Drivers" folder below.) - "USB3" folder -- Provides the USB 3.0 driver software. - "Wireless" folder -- Provides the device driver for the WiFi 802.11bgn Wireless Adaptor. "Software\Manual_Install_Drivers" folder -- If needed, contains manual installation subdirectories of selected board drivers. - "LAN" folder -- Provides the Intel(R) PRO Network Connections LAN drivers and setup information with computers that run the Microsoft Windows Vista OS. See Section 5.2 for more information. - "SATA_6Gbs" folder -- Provides manual installation files for the 6Gb/s Marvell* RAID controller with computers that run the Microsoft Windows Vista OS. This driver supports both the Intel(R) Desktop Board DX58SO2 and the Intel(R) Desktop Board DX58OG. See Section 5.7 for more information. "Software\Applications" folder -- Contains subdirectories for Intel applications and other third-party software: - "Adobe_Acrobat_Reader" folder -- Contains Adobe Acrobat Reader software that is needed to view the Product Guide, the product warranty, and other documentation on this DVD. - "dotNetFramework" folder -- Contains the Microsoft* .NET Framework version 3.5 software and the program file for the Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1. - "ESS" folder -- Contains the ESET* Smart Security 4 software program (from ESET, spol. s r. o. or ESET, LLC). - "Intel_Desktop_Utilities" folder -- Provides a link for downloading the Intel(R) Desktop Utilities software. - "Intel_Extreme_Tuning_Utility" folder -- Provides a link for downloading the Intel(R) Extreme Tuning Utility. - "Intel_Integrator_Assistant" folder - Provides a link for downloading the Intel(R) Integrator Assistant software. - "Laplink_PCmover_Express" folder -- contains the Laplink* PCmover* Express program. "EIhlpNNNN.chm" file -- Provides Help information for the Intel Express Installer application in selected languages. "LicenseNNNN.rtf" file -- Displays license information for this Intel Express Installer DVD in selected languages.
