DanCad3D is a sophisticated wire frame CAD program which gives you the power to create images in two-dimensional planes or in three- dimensional perspectives! Easily add lettering and text to your drawings. This program is perfectly suitable for general purpose 3-D designing such as creating line or mechanical drawings, technical illustrations, engineering simulations to verify the fit of 3-D objects, and wire frame animation sequences. DanCad3d is menu driven, includes a dynamic tracing facility for macros, and lets you magnify, flip, move and rotate images. Plus, you can drag images where you want them on your screen. DanCad3D v2.0 is a dramatic improvement over earlier versions of the program. The program even comes complete with a symbol library. Support is provided for Hercules, CGA and EGA displays, as well as the MicroSoft mouse and the Trap 30 trackball. Use a variety of dot matrix printers and plotters with DanCad3D. Even use your postscript laser printer for high quality productions! DanCad3d's powerful features let you easily manipulate objects and perspectives. The program comes with a demo, displaying two interlocking gears and an animated sequence involving the gears, which was written in the interpretive command language used by DanCad3D. This language gives you looping capabilities and the ability to call subroutines! The program was originally designed for creating animated sequences of frames by drawing an object and then viewing it from several successive angles. Instructions for using DanCad3D are found in the README and DANCAD3D.DOC files. After installing the program by entering "INSTALL (+ the letter of the hard drive you are using)", enter "RUN_DEMO" to view the moving gears. To begin the program, enter "DANCAD3D" at the DOS prompt.
