Tony Hawk's Underground 2 has a small and obscure community dedicated to hacking and modding both the PS2 and PC versions of the game. Like many other PC games, modding is popular. The flagship mod, as of this writing, is THUG Pro. The save file checksum tool is one of the many smaller mod tools that can be used with both THUG2 and THUG Pro for PC. If you modify a save file (.SKA file) manually you will need to satisfy the game engine's integrity check, or the game will display a message saying the save file is corrupted. This tool can used on Windows and Linux using Wine. It may work on Mac using Wine as well. Usage: checksum.exe [file.SKA] The resulting CRC32 checksum occupies the first 4 bytes in the file.
