macOS 26 Tahoe USB Installer

operating-system · macOS · Linux · Apple Inc.

This is a USB installer I created for macOS 26 Tahoe. This is for the launch release on September 15th 2025. This Installer needs a USB storage drive of at least 32GB in size. This USB image will also work with x86_64 (intel) devices. You will need to decompress the image (xz) before writing. Some software like gnome disk utility on Linux can do this while writing the image at the same time. You can download it here . Update (March 1st 2026): I added a macOS 26.3 usb installer (32GB) here . Update (June 12th 2026): I added a macOS 26.5.1 usb installer (32GB) here . Update (September 8th 2026): I added a macOS 26.6.2 usb installer (32GB) here .
