EnableLoopback Utility

operating-system · Windows

Metro apps in Windows 8/8.1 and U:WP apps in Windows 10/11 cannot use a local proxy without modifying system security settings. This means that Metro and UWP apps cannot connect to a VPN and will not be able to reach the internet when connecting to a VPN. You can use the EnableLoopback Utility to allow Metro apps to work with a VPN.
