Cube U67GT iWork 7 Tablet Drivers - Windows 8 Original

operating-system · driver · recovery · Windows · Scott

These are the original Windows 8 drivers for an obscure Chinese "Cube" branded iWorks 7 tablet that I meant to upload years ago, around 2017. They were dumped from a recovery image of Windows 8.1 from the tablet itself. The primary driver of importance here is the Goodix HID touch driver as vanilla Windows installs likely wont have them, rendering the touchscreen useless / non functional. At some point years ago, I had wiped the tablet to install Win10, realizing the touchscreen no longer worked, and upon re-installing 8.1 which is what the tablet shipped with, was sad to find it too did not have any touch functionality. The tablet itself was insanely obscure and I was never able to find drivers for it anywhere online. Luckily a user on some forum led me to a weblink of a restore image captured for this tablet. I was able to install the restore image via the windows installer using cmd to write it to the tiny 16GB emmc. I wish I remembered their name and the website too as it seemed to be a store image / rom archive for many many devices including phones, tablets etc.. If you know of this site, please leave a comment. Regardless, I hope this helps anyone out who needs to restore their Cube iWorks 7 tablet to working condition. I doubt it since the hardware itself was underpowered even on launch but even still, never know if it may come in handy for someone in the future! Cheers. I also have a driver dump for another obscure chinese 13.3" laptop "Jumper Ezbook 3se" which has a key audio driver that otherwise never installs with vanilla Windows and is considered 'unsigned' and so refuses to install unless put in safe mode. It restores audio functionality, will edit and link it here as well in case anyone needs.
