FINGERPAINT is a sophisticated paint program which supports Hercules monochrome graphics (720x348) and Enhanced Color Graphics (650x350) in addition to normal low resolution color graphics (640x200). Fingerpaint is pel based, as opposed to Altamira, which is object based. That is, once something has been drawn, it becomes an integrated part of the picture and can not be operated upon independently. Fingerpaint is similar to most commercial paint packages which use a mouse for drawing but differs by allowing keyboard input for those who do not have a mouse. Common functions such as drawing lines, circles, ovals, rectangles, painting with a selectable pattern, cut/paste functions, spray painting, and writing of text are supported. Fingerpaint offers support for all popular graphic displays, compresses picture files with significantly reduced size and supports a mouse input device. Fingerpaint also supports laser printers which implement the Hewlet Packard Graphics Language in addition to Epson compatible printers for output. Fingerpaint's newest release, version 2.0, offers a MOVIE command which steps successively through six sub-frames to provide NOTE: Non-registered users will have half-size HP LaserJet printer support.
