This collection includes three scripts designed to manage driver backups and installations for Windows operating systems. Each script serves a specific purpose based on the Windows version in use. 1. Driver Backup Script using PowerShell (Windows 10 and earlier) This script uses the Export-WindowsDriver command to back up drivers on Windows 10 and earlier versions. It saves the drivers to a specified folder for easy restoration or transfer to another system. Script: powershell @echo off echo Backing up drivers to C:\Drivers... Export-WindowsDriver -Online -Destination C:\Drivers echo Backup completed. pause 2. Driver Backup Script using DISM (Windows 11 and later) This script utilizes the dism /online /export-driver command to back up drivers on Windows 11 and later versions. The DISM tool ensures compatibility with the latest Windows updates and versions, providing a reliable method for driver backup. Script: cmd dism /online /export-driver /destination:"C:\Drivers" 3. Driver Installation Script This script uses the pnputil command to install drivers from a specified folder. It is compatible with all supported Windows versions and facilitates the installation of drivers in bulk. Script: cmd pnputil /add-driver C:\Drivers\*.inf /install How to Use: Backup Drivers: Use the PowerShell script for Windows 10 and earlier versions. Use the DISM script for Windows 11 and later versions. Change the destination folder ( C:\Drivers ) to your preferred location by editing the script. Install Drivers: Use the installation script to install drivers from the specified folder. Change the source folder ( C:\Drivers ) to the location where your drivers are stored by editing the script. These scripts provide an efficient way to manage driver backups and installations across different versions of the Windows operating system.
