Toshiba Qosmio X300/X305 drivers

2008 · operating-system · driver · Windows · Linux · Toshiba

YOU CAN SKIP THIS PARAGRAPH BELOW, BUT READ THE REST AS IT'S IMPORTANT I believe every single driver for the Qosmio X300 and X305 (same model essentially) is included here for you to install. Even the very obscure ones. When I swapped the original hard drive for an SSD, I couldn't find some drivers/controls ANYWHERE on the internet. To make thing worse, Toshiba, now Dynabook, REMOVED all legacy drivers off of their website! I remembered the hard drive had an app that came with the out of box experience that let you install all of the drivers and software! So I copied the application and files over to my USB drive then my SSD, and I was able to install EVERYTHING! You can too....... Maybe I installed everything on Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit. If i'm guessing, at least 90% of drivers/software should work on 7. NO GUARANTEE ON WINDOWS 8 AND LATER! The app may not even open, as it's from 2008 after all! ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT WORK ON ANY LINUX DISTRO! If your model has dual Nvidia 9800M GTS (SLI) like mine, you will need a special video driver, so go into the 9800M folder and install from there. Please, just please do not install Norton 360. It's garbage, nonfunctional, and will weigh your Quasimodo down.
