Nobara

operating-system · Linux · Glorious Eggroll

Nobara is a Fedora-based Linux distribution specifically created for gaming. Even though POP!_OS and Manjaro had their fair share of advantages, Nobara would have overshadowed them in certain ways in terms of patches, hence there is a mother load of them. Especially to the live kernel. Most if not all of the patches described, would be normally incredibly difficult if not impossible to fix without co-operation, but it is an amazing achievement to do so. Nobara also straight up comes with Steam pre-installed, in similar vain to Manjaro, but also Lutris, and even Wine.
