Commodore 64: Easy Working Writer (Clean)

1987 · utility · application · Commodore 64 · Spinnaker Software

Easy Working Writer was published by Spinnaker Software in 1987. It is a word processor that stores text files as SEQ files on C64 diskettes. It includes help files and a second disk contains a dictionary for spell checking. This is a clean copy of this software. There are no cracks, hacks or modifications. NOTE: The emulator defaults to PAL and this may cause programs to run poorly. To run these programs properly you need to set the emulator to C64C NTSC. Access this menu: 1) Press F12 while the emulator is running. 2) Choose "machine settings". 3) Choose "model settings". 4) Choose "C64 Model". 5) Arrow key down to C64C NTSC and press Enter. 6) Press ESC to reset the emulator and start the C64. To start the word processor: 1) Type LOAD"*",8,1 then hit ENTER. To use the spell checker you will need to change to the dictionary disk: 1) Press F12 to access the emulator menu. 2) Arrow key down once to "Drive" and press ENTER. 3) Press ENTER again to attach a new disk image to Drive 8. 4) Arrow key down and choose which disk you want ("easy_writer_s2_dictionary.d64" for example). Hit ENTER to activate this disk. 5) Press ESC to return to the emulator with the new disk active.
